Kujabi is currently training at the club’s £5m East Mains facility at Ormiston, Tranent according to reports monitored in the Scottish press. He has since been a free agent after leaving FSV Frankfurt in Germany. The full back had trials with Portsmouth and QPR in the summer but failed to land a deal. He now has a chance of landing a contract at Easter Road, should he impress Hibs boss Pat Fenlon.

But Bristol Rovers’ talismanic winger says he’s grateful to new boss Mark McGhee for telling him to take as long as he needs to make a full recovery from the groin injury which has kept him out of the last three games. “It happened in the FA Cup game against Aston Villa,” said Carayol. “Alan Hutton went to shoot, I tried to block it – but as I did, my foot slipped and I felt a little pull in my groin. I tried to carry on because I didn’t want to come off, but I could feel it tightening up and didn’t want to make it worse.”

Gambia Sports Online has gathered that the players were spotted by the Rangers management at the last WAFU Cup in Lome, Togo, where the players starred for the losing finalists Gamtel F.C. When contacted by Gambia Sports Online to confirm the story, Gamtel’s head coach Mustapha Manneh said that the players are currently in Nigeria for an eleven days trial and he revealed that the two players are Ali Sowe and Assan Ceesay alias Torres. “It’s true that my players are in Nigeria as they were invited by Enugu Rangers. They will be at the club for 11 days and I’m hopeful they will stay with the club,” head coach Mustapha Manneh said in an interview with Gambia Sports Online.
